Steve Bernier Takes Victory at Airborne Park Speedway DIRTcar Championship night at Airborne Park Speedway saw Steve Bernier set the tone from the start of race night during qualifying. The driver from Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec, showed his dominance by winning his qualifying after going through the whole field to take the lead on the 8th lap and continue to do so until the end. - a prelude to what was to come for Steve and Team 25. Connor Cleveland in the Sportsman class also proved his dominance in similar fashion throughout the evening.

Bernier continued on his way to victory undisturbed, giving spectators an incredible display of his racing skills. Chris Raabe finished in second place and was the new track champion, followed by Todd Stone who completed the podium.

In the 50-lap Modified Egglefield Ford finale, Steve Bernier started mid-pack out of a total of 18 cars. When green was given, Bernier began to pass the cars one by one, slowly opening his way forward, with a few yellow flags along the way. The most serious interruption involved Travis Bruno at 91NY and John Lutes, Jr., #959, in which the two got tangled late in the fourth round. Both drivers escaped unscathed.#91NY Travis Bruno. Sportsman
In the 25-lap Sportsman Fidelis Care Final, Conner Cleveland went from 14th place to first place to claim victory and the track championship. The native of Corinth, New York had a great race, fighting his way through several yellow flags and so taking the lead on lap 17. Bucko Branham #20 tried several times to pass Conner, but in the end he never gave in and went for the checkered flag and the championship.
