Maxime Plante is living his dream
Maxime Plante is living his dream
La version française ici Recently, at Autodrome Granby, I had the pleasure of photographing Maxime Plante as he received pre-race advice from his childhood hero and the Super DIRTcar champion , Matt Shepard. Shortly after the clocked times, the young pilot from St-Hyacinthe crossed the pit from one end to the other and presented himself to Matt Sheppard. Sheppard greeted Max and the two began to exchange ideas about the track and their car settings. Photo credit: Don SimpsonIt was clear that at the time Max was a little nervous but once he saw that Matt was more than happy to share his thoughts and strategies on settings, the two enjoyed their talk.

He explained to Matt that he had dreamed of competing against him since he was a young boy. The "five-times" champion put his hand on Max's shoulder and replied, "You did it, you're here and tonight it's going to happen." Max looked at Matt and he smiled at his dream come true. This young rider from St-Hyacinthe hopes to repeat his experience at Cornwall Motor Speedway next Sunday . Photo credit: Don Simpson
