Sportsman Modifieds Set to Invade Granby at the Sportsman 100 Showdown – DTD Exclusive

Friday, August 28 will be the biggest Sportsman event of the season at the Autodrome Granby with $1000.00 dollars up for grabs
This season so far has for the Sportsman division has been one of the most exciting seasons considering the circumstance.
The competition has been fierce at Autodrome Granby to the point that any one of the top 10 drivers can win on any given night.
In the Sportsman ranks, Mose Page and Even Racine have both been having a great season so far at Granby, but drivers like Alex Lajoie, Junior Mailhot, William Racine, and Andre Manny have all been in the thick of things this season at Granby.
There are some invaders as well who have made their presences know at the big track at Granby. Gabriel Cyr who took home the win on July 4th. Thomas Cook and Jarrett Herbison have also mad there presence know each time they have to challenge the locals
Another driver making people take notice this season in his rookie ranks is Donovan Lussier who has finished numerous times in the top 10 in just his first season in the Sportsman Division.
This race however will be the biggest battle this season in the Sportsman class between Even Racine and Mosie Page. These two drives have given fans online and the limited fan’s allowed in the stands, some of the best racing you could find anywhere. This next race 100 laps could be a deal-breaker for ether driver, as this is a long race and things can happen.
Even Racine explains about next week’s race: “Yes! it will be our biggest race of the year! As for the battle with Moise, it adds stress since we are very close in the points for the championship but racing with Moise is always fun and the races are always clean.”
Moise Page always optimistic will be looking for a good result as-well. Moise explains: “We are excited for the upcoming race as we always like long runs and we are good at these long races. We ready and know that Even will bring a good battling for the top 3 in this upcoming race. We will do our best and hope to finish in the top 3 and maybe a win if everything goes well for us. Yes, Anything can next week but with 3 races remaining we have still a good chance of winning the season.”
Also on the card, this night will be the Sports Compact, who have also shown fans some great side by side racing all season. The vintage class will make there first showing of the season along with the Semi-Pro open.
Pit gates open at 4:30, with hot laps and time trials at 6:30 with the heat races at 7:00
So the call is out for the biggest Sportsman even of the season at the Autodrome Granby who will win, a track regular or an invader, this will be the one race to attend as a driver or team.
