The 3rd edition of the Highbank Holdup in Fulton
The Big Block Modified Super DIRTcar series and the Empire Super Sprints Winged Warriors are ready to take over Fulton Speedway – this 3rd annual Highbank Holdup weekend. The event is scheduled at Fulton Speedway on April 28-29. Two months after the Shakedown races at Volusia Speedway, for the start of the 2017 points chase in the Super DIRTcar Series and Sportsman DIRTcar Series (Central Region). The Highbank in Fulton will also host the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints (ESS) event to kick off the weekend's races. On Friday, April 28, the Empire Super Sprints Lucas Oil series will take place on the high "banks" of Fulton. Steve Poirier, local driver and last year's winner will be present. This year's opening event will feature 16 of the top drivers competing in the full-time series, including 2016 series champion Matt Shepard, as well as Billy Decker (last year's Highbank Holdup winner) who won the last two Super DIRTcar Series events at Fulton. Present will be some of the best weekly regulars to win this coveted event at Fulton Speedway with Larry Wight, Jimmy Phelps, Pat Ward and Ryan Phelps and Canadians Tim Kerr with Ryan Arbuthnot.
