Super DIRTcar Series Set to Invade Airborne Park Speedway - July 6, 2017
The Super DIRTcar Series will make its inaugural debut at the newly revamped Airborne Park Speedway on July 6.
With the transformation from asphalt to dirt, the workers at Airborne Speedway have done an amazing job. Bruce Richards, the former promoter at Albany-Saratoga and Devil’s Bowl Speedway, who is onboard at Airborne this year, brings a wealth of experience to the Speedway. Bruce will oversee the transformation and will be heavily involved in track preparation. Recently Airborne hosted the ESS Super Sprint series, which was highly successful and is now set to host the Super DIRTcar Series.
With the Super series coming to town with some of the biggest names in the sport like the current points leader Matt Sheppard, Billy Decker (2nd in points), the legendary Brett Hearn, Stewart friesen, Jimmy Phelps and a host of other Super Series drivers who vow to add Airborne to their resume and become the first Super DIRTcar series winner at this Legendary track.

Not to be outdone, some of the weekly regulars in the 358 Class will defend their territory against the new comers. With the likes of Chris Raabe (current track points leader), Gage Morin (two-time winner), Greg Atkins, Jessey Mueller and veteran driver Mike Perrotte, these drivers are sure to give the tour drivers a run for their money.
