A double for Chris Raabe!
La version française ici Chris Raabe was the big winner at Airborne Park Speedway in the Egglefield Ford Modified 358 Final. Starting fourth for the start, Raabe wasted no time in taking the lead on lap ten over George Foley in the number 63. Once past Foley, Chris took a considerable lead to go for the checkered flag. Steve Bernier finished second closely followed by George Foley. During the inaugural "dash for cash" event in the Modified 358 with a prize of $500 for a 5-lap sprint. Travis Bruno started on pole and ran the 5 laps unopposed to win the prize. 
Travis Bruno. Photo credit: Don SimpsonIn the Sportsman division, Nick Heywood had an exceptional run as he started in 18th position. Heywood fought his way through the pack to pull off a last-minute maneuver with just a few laps remaining to claim victory in Poirier's True Value Sportsman Final.

The team from Saint-Hyacinthe, Que., decided to hit the 65-year-old track to challenge track regulars for the first time. Maxime and his sister Josianne Plante brought their two Modified 358 cars and they were very happy with their first experience at Airborne.
