The best of the 358 riders will show up on one of the fastest 3/8 mile tracks to the Northeast. Jimmy PhelpsSteve Bernard, the current leader of the DIRTcar 358 Series standings, will be battling against major competitors looking to take that title. One of those intent on going for the championship is last year's winner, Chris Raabe, in the 01 car who is only 27 points behind the talented Quebec driver, and who will give Bernard a hard time in the points race. Three other Quebec drivers are in the top-5: Mathieu Desjardins, Mario Clair, followed by Steve Bernier, who all have a chance of winning. This being the second of the satellite races during Super DIRT Week could set the stage for the championship for the DIRTcar 358 series. Mario ClearBut the DIRTcar 358 series will not be the only ones present, as the DIRTcar Sportsman series will also be there. Last year, more than 50 cars tried to qualify for this event and Todd Root won it, closely followed by Kevin Root and Shane Pecore. This year, the Sportsmans come to Weedsport to try to get as many points as possible to allow them to overtake current point guard Rocky Warner. Two of those local drivers in this points race are Jessica Power of Kingston, Ont., and Brianna Ladouceur of Cornwall, Ont.
